STEAM SUX MONKEY COCKS....
I bought a steam game and downloaded that invasive bullshit and then I had to get rid of a key stroke logger that came in with steam and the game... Sniper Ghost Warrior, well I have yet to play the first second of the game as it locked up my computer everytime I launched. I uninstalled the game and steam then had to do a complete registry cleaning as steam was everywhere inside my computer...
FUCK STEAM....
If Valve is anything like STEAM THEN FUCK VALVE TOO!

not trying to start a war, but unlike ea and activision, and all the other bs developers/publishers, they genuinely care about their consumer base. you may have just had bad luck with that game, but I, as well as possibly millions of other people from around the globe haven't had problems with steam. most who complain about steam in general have used it years ago, and haven't used it within the past year or so.
also, from reading on that game's forums, it's related to that game. valve's games (tf2, l4d, css, hl2, portal, etc) and 99% of third-party games have no issues what-so-ever

I really had a bad experience and probably will not download anything steam related ever... Jeez what a fucking headache.....
Yeah the game was fucked up but the key stroke logger was what really pissed me off. I have not tried valve but again I am not sure I am interested.
