i did on black friday while i was at my gamestop, but news is now u can only get a beta code if u preordered it from gamestop online

yup the day of beta they email you the key if you choose to have it mailed.

Steam is offering the pre-order, which lets you play the beta test from Jan 28 till feb something. you also get 6 perks in advance of everyone else...

As far as I have read for right now beta is for preorder only, as for the shipping x it was only a couple of dollars and 10 was for over night when I ordered it. I will try it its only 50 bux and I need something new.
