Bad Company Crashes and Freezes and other retarded bullshit

I have been plagued with many crashes and feezes  requiring a hard boot of my computer.

Spent some time with EA today and they told me to go to start, type %temp% in the search bar,
Click on temp folde,r once folder opens, control a and then delete all.

This helped some. I was able to exit out of the game a few times without the hard boot when the game crashed. I am worried about this hard boot shit... Is doing this repeatedly bad for my box?

I came across this link in my quest to resolve this pain in the ass issue.

Thought I would share with you guys for a second opinion. All you brilliant gaming nerds that know bout this kind of shit!

Re: Bad Company Crashes and Freezes and other retarded bullshit

I all but ended my BC2 crashing...  mine were related to the ATI video card drivers.  once I got the 10.4a (beta) ATI drivers (and the later final version of  10.4)  AND disabled AAA and Catalyst AI the crashing stopped.  now I can play night after night.. no freezes.. also the long wait for map load ended.

As IV mentioned above.. sound cards seem to be just as touchy.. especially onboard sound.  I ended up putting my SB Audigy4 back in during beta to stop the sound crashing bullshit..

If you find yourself in a fair fight, you didnt plan the mission properly.
