LOL, yeah, my mom doesn't come to our show because she's afraid she's going to see someone get hurt.  I don't use a lighter anymore, I use a MAPP gas electric igniting torch (the yellow canister in my arm in the group photo Otto put up) because it lights everything instantly and is wind proof.  Everyone else uses those long red lighters.  It got old trying to time lighting 3 mortar tubes by 3 different people at he same time and then having my hand constantly burned by the wick.  So now, I wait for them to do theirs, then I hit mine.

Funny, I use one of those for something completely different.

If letting off fireworks makes me a hillbilly, then call me their king!!  and I really don't stardrinking until after the show is over.  Hte phots taht Otto pulled up were frfroma completely different day for a completely different reason..  If I can get 3 volunteers to send me close up photos, I'll show you why

And ya know I have had NO JAGER  at all this week---actually I have not had a drink at all since friday of last week-----lol    ok  truck---dogs---jager bomb and then vent and gaming------lol

Next year I might try to add music.  This year I have the burn times of each cake and i am going to wick them so one will start right when another is finished.  If that works out well then adding music shouldn't be to big of a deal.  Hearing the music might be though.

When you watch the video notice the cakes that fall over and start shooting sideways.  Those shots were firing at the Hidden Valley "police officer' and his car.  You can hear him come in a the end and tell us to dump water on it.  She missed the first part of the last barrage and the film is sideways and blurry, but it's still amusing.
