I bet you cant fly unless you pay real money for a pilots license.  Or something ghey like that..  I mean come on this is EA here.  The Micro$oft of gaming.  Its free but to what extent.  Without buying ingame add-ons the game play will prolly be:

Corporate America Marketing 101 

pay attention to shit in society ppl..

EA is on the cuspt of the next big marketing stratigy for the gaming industry.  Just as Blizzard's WoW became a cash cow with pay-to-play.  EA looks to bend over the consumer with "PAY TO PWN".   

And no I know WoW wasnt the first game to charge monthly fees.  It was the first one to tap into mainstream pop culture.   They were just the first ones able to sacrifice a well liked but forgotten franchise from PC gaming's golden age.   

Now imagine the games industry juggernaught EA.   They have marketing, tons of capitol, large consumer base.  They have been trying to find the next WoW game.  Trying to tap into that market.  Their greed is to large for just a one time point of sale profit.    $59 is just not enuff.

i played bf heroes for a while, and the stuff you could buy did little to improve the game play but only changed the appearance of your character. i have no idea if this will be the same or what.

i played endless hours of bf2 and if this game can bring back some of that fun for free ill drop a few donations to them ...
